Missing Morpeth Man.
Medical Attention during Evacuation
At 2245 hours on 6 July the Team Leader was contacted by Northumbria Police for assistance in finding a missing gentleman aged 77 years. The Team, together with the North of Tyne SRT and two search and rescue dogs were tasked to search the surrounding countryside in the Morpeth area of Northumberland. As the initial search areas were being concluded and the search Team managers were reviewing their search strategy, with the intention of asking neighbouring Teams for assistance, the missing gentleman was located safe and well and returned to his family. Both teams was stood down at 0230 hours on 7 July
