Number Date Incident
1 14 & 15 March
72 year-old male walker became separated from a party walking a circular route in Eastern Cheviots hills. Last seen approx 1645 hours and failed to return to his accommodation in Wooler. Police requested the Team's assistance and responded with an overnight search which included two SARDA search dogs. RAF Leeming MRT arrived to support search 07.00 hours. Person located 08.10 hours wet, cold, mildly hypothermic off-route having spent the night outdoors.
2 31 March Missing 53 year-old vulnerable female with recent previous history of disappearance. Located by Wark Forestry Commission staff close to a local farm as the Team arrived.

24 April
15 year-old female rang Samaritans, considered to have been assaulted, extreme police concern for her safety. Extensive search of the area located the missing person.
4 26 April
Police were concerned for the safety of a missing person who has left a suicide note and disappeared. Investigations and data held by the Team on such missing persons strongly suggested a Kielder area. The missing person was located close to Kielder Dam by local police as team rest of were en-route. Team were stood down.
5 4 June
Vulnerable 81 year-old female missing from home following a similar event during the previous 24 hours. Complex medical history relevant to disappearance. Located by police whilst team en-route
6 26 June
A mountain biker was thrown over handlebars and sustained a broken clavicle. The Team were already in the area supporting a fell running event 4km away. The Team's vehicle and small rescue group responded and treated the cyclist, evacuating to a waiting amulance for transportation to hospital.
7 9 July
NESARA stand by to Swaledale, North Yorshire. Team were asked to support an on going incident in North Yorkshire. On receipt of further information the Team were stood down.
8 10 August
A lost walker in Kielder forest used a mobile phone to contact police. The police helicopter located the lost person and the Team was stood down en-route.
9 11 August Missing person. Police concern for depressed male missing overnight from home. Located safe and well following search and investigation.
10 31 August
Missing person. Requested by Northumbria Police to assist with a search in the Bellingham area for a depressed male in conjunction with Northumbria underwater search unit. Body found in river downstream of Bellingham.
11 25 September
Team members, supporting the Reivers outdoor event in Kielder, were requested to attend a motorcycle RTA as no police vehicle in the immediate area. Ambulance on-scene on arrival
12 28 September Missing person. Northumbria Police requested help to search the sand dunes south of Blyth and north of Seaton Sluice. The area was searched and nothing was found. The missing person was located several days later in Whitby, North Yorkshire.
13 2 October Couple on walk from Alwinton via Shillmoor and Copper Snout became disorientated & lost in Kidland Forest. Contacted police by mobile phone. Located initially by India 99, team called in to escort of the hill. By then the couple had become benighted & moved location. Relocated & escorted back to Alwinton
14 & 15 8 October

At the Alwinton Show, a ten-year-old girl fell awkwardly. Suspected fracture of femur, intense pain, Entonox analgesia provided until air ambulance arrived on-scene from Penrith. Casualty and mother were airlifted to hospital. Team provided a secure perimeter and landing zone for air ambulance and assisted in loading casualty.

Whilst this incident was in progress a local lady was treated for puncture wounds to the middle finger of the left hand after being bitten by a dog.

16 13 October
Police concern for missing 74-year-old male with Alzheimer’s disease and other complications. Located shortly after team arrived.
17 31 October

1800 hours. Police requested assistance from the Team in locating a missing 80 yr old male in the North Shields area. The missing person was found on Team's arrival.

2130 hours. Follow on from last callout, the police requested us to reamain at on site on site as information on a male in a motorised chair had been reported missing with intent to self harm. Person located by police.
