Team placed on standby to search for a missing person in the Belligham area. The person was found safe and well just before the search groups were deployed.

26 & 27 Jan.

The team was part of a full NESRA callout to Selby in North Yorkshire. After an extensive serch by 5 mountain rescue teams nothing was found. All teams were later stood down. The missing person was eventaully found several weeks later dead

The Team was callout in in a heavy snow storm to look for a missing walker in the Breamish valley. Just as search groups were about to be deployed a farmer, tending his sheep, located the missing walker.

The Team was called out to the Stocksfield area of Northumberland. Police were concerned after finding an abandoned car and its owner had not been seen for three days. The person was located by the Police at his office in London!

Police asked the assistance of the Team to locate a missing Alzheimer's patient. Person was found dead.

Another person with similar conditions to the person found dead the previous day was found safe and well.

A limited callout for a missing person, last seen 4 days previously. A collapsed male was found by search dogs and evacuated. This person turned out to be NOT the missing person the Team was looking for. Despite extensive searching by the Team the orignal missing person was not found. The Team was stood down. The missing person was found dead at the coast.

An extensive search was made for some missing school children. They were located by the police out side of the Team's search area.

Team responded to Police request to search for a missing despondant, suicidal person in mid-Northumberland. The missing person was later found dead in the River Tyne.

Team called out to look for a missing person in the large oepn areas of Gateshead. The missing person was later found in South Shields having overdosed on drugs.

Police asked the Team to be placed on stanby to search for a missing child from an outdoor centre in Allendale. As the Team were responding the child was found.

Participant in a mountain challenge was evacuated from the Cheviots hills suffering from exhaustion.

Team were asked to locate an elderly person missing overnight. The person concerned was found dead.

Team called out by Durham Police to locate a missing male last seen wearing a towel and jacket. The Team was stood down when the missing person telephoned home.

The Team searched the Causy Arch area for a missing 80 year old male. He was found in woodland and evacuated to an awaiting air ambulance.

0630 hours, the Police asked for the Team's assistance in locating the whereabouts of a young male. The overnight wetaher was poor, freezing temperatures and snow. The missing male was found dead.
